Place names

Huejutla de Reyes Township derives its name from the Nahuatl roots, Huexotla, "willow" and tlan, "place ", meaning "place of many willows.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Location

Huejutla Municipality of Kings, is located north of the state and geographically between latitudes 21 ° 08 'north latitude and 98 ° 25' west longitude at an altitude of 140 meters above sea level.

Bordered on the north by the State of Veracruz, on the south by the municipalities of Huazalingo Atlapexco and on the east by Jaltocán, Tlanchinol and Orizatlán; and west Huautla. Extension

Hydrography

Flora

Festivals, dances and traditions
